Meet Jess

Hi, I’m Jess, a paediatric speech pathologist who is passionate about play-based, child-led, neuro-affirming therapy.

I work with children aged 0–5 and would describe my sessions as fun, personalised, and a little bit silly (well… a lot silly).

I see therapy as a partnership and work closely with families to create practical, meaningful strategies that fit into everyday life. My job isn’t to add to your load, it’s to support your family to tackle tricky things in a way that feels manageable.

I’m passionate about learning, and you’ll often find me attending conferences, completing additional training, or diving into emerging research between sessions. I have completed additional learning in:

  • Neurodiversity affirming practice

  • Feeding

  • Early language development

  • Speech sound disorders

  • Gestalt language processing

  • Complex presentations

  • Childhood apraxia of speech

  • AAC

I started Little Sprouts because I wanted therapy to feel less clinical and more human. As a neurodivergent person myself, I share a unique perspective with many of the children and families I work with through my lived experience.

When children feel safe and families are supported as active partners in the therapy process, we see the best outcomes for our little sprouts.
